The T 12.80 is powerful and versatile, with a 3-horsepower Commercial Pro motor that helps you push your workouts to the limit, reliable self-cooling technology that lets you exercise for longer periods, and a spin-balanced flywheel that supports a remarkably smooth and quiet performance. The treadmill also offers minimal impact on your joints thanks to its StrideFlex cushioning. The full-length StrideFlex design is supportive regardless of your stride length, providing maximum comfort every step of the way. And to keep you motivated during your run, the treadmill offers a music port that's compatible with iPods and MP3 players. The Intermix Acoustics 5.5 music system also includes a subwoofer integrated directly into the treadmill's console.
Perhaps the handiest feature for users, however, is the treadmill's support for iFit workout cards. Each card is designed by a certified personal trainer and plugs directly into the treadmill's console, automatically adjusting your resistance. At the same time, the voice of a personal trainer takes you through each workout. All told, the iFit workouts can help you lose weight, feel great, and improve your overall performance in just eight weeks. Once activated, the iFit workouts--which are available in Wellness and Weight Loss categories--not only offer customized, goal-specific results, but also automatically control the speed and incline of your treadmill as you progress, helping you reach your fitness potential. Should you prefer not to use the iFit cards, you can turn to the trainer's 28 built-in personal trainer workouts, with choices in aerobic, weight-loss, and performance categories. Other workout choices include four Create & Save personalized workouts and custom speed and include controls, with ranges of 0 to 12 miles per hour (QuickStep) and 0 to 12 percent (QuickIncline).
The treadmill also makes it easy to track your workout progress with a Graffix high-resolution display, which takes your training from typical to inspirational. The attractive display can either show multiple information fields--giving you more at-a-glance info--or it can show a single display for on-the-fly goal training. Other features include a large 20-by-60-inch commercial treadbelt; a workout intensity meter that notifies you when you need to exercise a little harder or softer to meet your goals; an AccuRate heart rate monitor with optional chest pulse compatibility; a CoolAire workout fan that helps you stay cool and fresh; 2.5-inch precision rollers; and a SpaceSaver design that folds vertically for storage. To make the SpaceSaver feature easier to use, the T 12.80 sports an Easy Drop Shock system that slowly lowers the treadmill deck after it's been folded so you don't have to bend over and do it yourself.
